Hey, welcome to my page!
I have a variety of interests, including history, science, cartography, linguistics, art and politics. I made this account to try my hand at making and presenting maps of alternate historical outcomes as well as any other ideas I have. The most familiar areas of history to me are European, North American and Australian. I also love the internet. Never in human history has there been a platform on which people from any part of the globe can find each other and create communities around whatever they like. Yes, there's also a lot of negativity, but this is far outweighed by the positive things. I like to talk with people around the world, so I'm open to conversation anytime, just shoot me a message!

1. What place would you like to travel to most of all?
There are many places I'd like to visit to be honest; it is hard to say one specific choice. I've also always liked the idea of visiting cold, isolated places like Greenland, Antarctica or Svalbard. North America would be nice too, since I see a lot of it but have never been there.
2. If you had to choose extreme hot or extreme cold, what would you choose?
While extreme hot would also be very interesting to experience, it would be extreme cold that I choose. ^^

So I'm making this first journal entry to let myself be familiarised, as I am relatively new here in Maps and Flags and on DA as a whole. Now that my summer break is here I have a lot of time on my hands. I've gotten to know many great people here so far, and I'd like to continue doing so.
Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who has decided to watch me, that my illustrations and scenarios are good/interesting enough such that you'd like to see more.
